Materials and Production

All commissioned works are created with the client and the site in mind. Frames are handmade to conservation standards with museum-grade UV-resistant glass. Custom finishes — acrylic face-mount, aluminum dibond, vintage brass title plate — are chosen for durability indoors and outdoors. Production is handled by trusted local and international fabricators, meeting commercial and institutional conservation standards. Final pieces are unique originals printed on museum-quality archival papers with pigment inks. Scale, surface, and materials are part of the work, so each piece functions as both image and physical object in a space. We have worked with respected partners such as POV Fine Art Printing, Vivia Print, and WhiteWall on site-specific projects and installations.

Large Format Printing and Production

All works are produced as archival pigment prints on Canson Infinity fine art paper. As a Canson Infinity ambassador, Tommy Lei Studio works across a range of substrates selected to serve each project on its own terms — from the luminous surface of Platine Fibre Rag to the tactile warmth of Arches 88.

Framing and Finishing

Frames are handcrafted from sustainable materials with museum-grade UV-resistant glass and optional anti-glare treatment. Bespoke finishes include acrylic face-mount, aluminum dibond, and vintage brass title plate. All materials and treatments are specified for durability in both indoor and outdoor environments, with a conservation lifespan of 100 years or more.
